WOYWW #165 - Look Everyone, No Hands!!!

Hi Woyggers... blog hopping buddies, from around the world... hope you are leaped about those desks safely and successfully. As for me, I did nothing much of anything, having had my thumbs injected on Thursday. Only had a ickle drive today, and been out of the loop on ALL fronts. ... so no crafting either... desk looks 'xactly the same... sigh

So I thought I would show you the things I made for my soap-making, erstwhile Taiji teacher friend and mentor, Peta. Many of you said you would like a full view rather than the teasers I gave you. Well, she has them all now and loves them, so I can share them with you... get a cuppa, put your feet up - there are quite a few photos- and enjoy...
Her grand-nephew is almost 2 and he ADORES Peppa Pig!! So here's the one I made for Peta to give him. Mummy is having another baby and Freddie says it's "George" !! - that's Peppa's ickle brother for those not in the know!!!! So I put him on both cards!! This one is approx A4
This one is NOT A4!!! More like A3!!! and SO cute being so big!!!  It makes me smile just looking at it...
Her actual nephew is a young man, trendy and musical... she loved this one for him because it fits his image...

I used lots of Kanban elements from the steampunk range they did a while ago... I teamed it up with some musical paper from  a G45 collection and distressed it with a tool at the edges, as well as with ink.
Remember this ickle trinket made from Vintaj pieces and coloured with Patinas?? It has a bale so that Sally can hang it from a chain if she would like to... anyway, below is the whole card...
I recycled some pieces from a different project, and added new backgrounds and the jewellery piece. I was very pleased with the finished effect. I hope she is!!
This, and the one below, is a detail of a card I made for Peta's sister... she was very happy with it, and thought it fitted her just so... good job I know these peeps eh??!!

Here is the whole thing. I love the papers from the Conservatory collection by 7Gypsies... it's layered for a scrapbook-look...
This is another card that I altered from it's original, and gave it several other distressed layers... for Sally from Peta's mum... and finally... tada tada
The purple suitcase, using mainly papers from the PaperArtsy Thornton Hall collection, which is simply yumminess personified... was for Peta herself. I made it for her to be able to show off her soaps on her stall...
This spotty inside paper is from a stack called Boy but I can't remember who makes it... however, it fitted the colour scheme perfectly!! The straps and handles are made from pieces cut and coloured, from Tyvek envelopes - very thin and workable - sewable even!! - but VERY strong and virtually indestructible...

I finally understood the construction when I made this one... so I may make another, or try one with slightly bigger dimensions... thanks again to Laura Denison of The Paper Trail for her patterns and UStream classes...  she is an true inspiration...

So that's me for another Stamping Ground week. I am sorry for no visits to you all last time, but am getting more dexterous now and more able to type etc.. I am off to post this then off to bed... sleep still keeps alluding me and I am wearing a bit thin!!! Thanks for all your support.

Love and light
